Frequently asked
How do I reset my password?
Tap “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen and follow the emailed link. If the email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then contact us and we will reset it manually.
How does verification work?
Every result carries a tier. A hand-entered number is Tier 1 and is labelled unverified. Recording the attempt in the app makes it Tier 2. A verified coach reviewing that capture makes it Tier 3. Results captured under controlled protocol at a sanctioned event reach Tier 4, the STAMP Standard. Higher tiers outrank lower ones on leaderboards.
Why does my time look different from a hand-timed number?
Hand timing typically reads faster than a captured time because a human reaction delay is baked into both the start and the stop. STAMP marks the start and finish frames from the recording, which is stricter — and it is the number a coach can actually check.
Who can see my results?
Your username, sport, position, grad year, state, verified results and rating are public on leaderboards. Your email, password, date of birth and any parent contact details are never public. The Privacy Policy spells out the full list.
Can athletes under 18 use STAMP?
Athletes aged 13 to 17 can use STAMP with parent or guardian consent, which we collect during onboarding and enforce on our servers. Athletes under 13 cannot create an account.
Do I need special equipment?
No. A phone and space to run. STAMP uses the camera and the phone’s motion sensors — no timing gates, no wearables.
What devices are supported?
STAMP is built for iPhone and is available on the App Store now. Android is planned. If a feature misbehaves on your device, tell us the model and iOS version.
Is STAMP free?
Yes. Recording drills, verification, leaderboards and teams are free. If we introduce a paid tier later, existing features that are free today stay free, and any subscription terms will be shown before you are charged.
